Every Air conditioning system works on the same basis
The working principle that the air condition system is based on is the physics law that says that in order to convert liquid to gas there has to be precipitated heat , and in order to convert gas to liquid there must be infer heat. The heat which is needed to change the state is also called hidden heat, because the changing state process is executed under different temperatures
Another physics law that the air conditioning system is based on is that the temperature of changing the state of a liquid/gas depends the pressure, so when the pressure is up the temperature to change the state is higher and vice-verse

The principal of the air conditioner is actually moving heat by changing the state of a cold liquid which is condensed by high pressure and at a high temperature, and then it outputs warm air to the outer air, it also might vaporize it at a low pressure and at a low temperature and then outputs cold air to the outer air. From the carborator the gas is going out by low pressure and at a low temperature to the compressor, there a power is precipitated by using an electric generator, and the gas is going out by high pressure and high temperature
The cooling process of the air conditioner is made by boiling a liquid at a low pressure. The carborator is a heat changer which is made up by pipes where cold liquid at a low pressure is flowing through them. When the pressure is low, the temperature that the state changes is made low as well. The hot air is sucked out of the room and cool air is replaced.
The Air Conditioner Power is measured in a units that called BTU, which are equal to 1055J. One BTU is the amount of energy which is needed to heat 0.45 Kg of water to a temperature of 0.56 Cl. The power of the air conditioner is measured by its BTU capability
In order to calculate the efficiency of an air conditioner you can divide the BTU that the air conditioner is making by the eletric power that it consumes, this measure called EER - Energy Efficiency
Another measure for your air conditioner efficiency is COP - Coefficient Of Performance, which is converted from EER by dividng at 3.413
That is how the airconditioner controls the climate
